Mihrimah Sultan Mosque
Mimar Sinan, one of the most special architects of the Ottoman Empire, built the Mihrimah Sultan Mosque between the years 1562-1565, is one of Sinan's early works. It was built by Mihrimah Sultan, the daughter of Süleyman the Magnificent. Every fascinating mosque, seen with its elegant architecture, is located in Üsküdar's square. The name of the mosque, in Turkish, means "Sun" and "Moon".
It was built in 1612 by 1st Sultan Ahmet's Babussaade Network Osman Ağa. The mosque in Kadikoy Bazaar is one of the largest and oldest mosques in Kadikoy. The historic mosque is famous for not having a dome. It was built with a single honorable, small minaret, the walls of the glass, three rows of bricks and a row of cut stone statues. When you go to Kadıköy it is definitely one of the historical places you should visit.
